When a southern family is left with nothing in the time of the Great Depression, they move to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There they’ll seek to find work, love, and a new life amongst the natural splendor. With sickness, poverty, and heartbreak always around the corner, the precocious Edith seeks out a mysterious creature for aid but quickly learns that no good deed comes without a price.

Ticket sales are handled by The ArtsCenter, Carrboro. Tickets are $8 + tax/fee

About the Playwright

Grace Siplon is a young playwright and director in Durham, North Carolina. Since graduating from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, her work has been performed in Asheville, Edinburgh, and Chicago. Inspired by the great fantasy writers that came before her, she seeks to use otherworldly means to discuss real-world themes. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown to showcase this new play.
